Pulsar Player: Navigate and Play Spotify Tracks from Your Apple Watch

Pulsar Player is a free iPhone app developed by Fred Anthony that allows you to easily navigate and begin playback of tracks from your Spotify Playlists, saved Tracks, Albums, and Recently Played, all from your Apple Watch. With Pulsar, you no longer have to listen to the same Playlist repeatedly or take out your phone during a workout to choose another Playlist.

With Pulsar, you can view and paginate through all of your Playlists, Albums, Tracks, and Recently Played directly from your Watch. The app offers continuous play, automatically playing the next set of Tracks from your selected list until it reaches the end. You can control the playback, including play, pause, skip forward or backward, and adjust the volume, directly from your Watch or iPhone.

It's important to note that Pulsar does not play music on your watch itself. You still need to connect your headphones or Bluetooth devices to your phone, as the music will be emitted from your phone. Pulsar simply allows you to navigate, select, and choose to play tracks from your watch without the need to do so from your phone.

Please be aware that Spotify Premium is required to use this application. Additionally, Pulsar uses content provided by Spotify but is not sponsored, endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by Spotify. Please note that Spotify does not currently provide an SDK for watchOS, which means that playback directly from the Apple Watch is not possible at this time.

Overall, Pulsar Player is a convenient and easy-to-use app for Spotify users who want to control their music playback from their Apple Watch. With its intuitive interface and seamless integration with Spotify, Pulsar offers a hassle-free way to navigate and play your favorite tracks without having to reach for your phone.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
